CLERMONT TO THE RESCUE

Alfie is a typical puppy, he has spurts of energy between naps and likes to explore his surroundings. He is very young so puppy proofing is a must- he does not yet understand that cords and furniture are not for chewing and will need to be taught (patience is a must). He is also too young to be completely house trained. Although he does show a lot of promise in that regard. We think he was taken from his mother very early so he is still learning the manners that she would have taught him. He is smart though and learned to "sit" very quickly. He was great with children when he met them and seems to do well with other dogs- However he gets intimidated by other dogs easily at this time. He would benefit from seeing a dog trainer to insure that he is properly socialized and his confidence and manners move in a positive direction. A trainer could also assist in his leash training as he could be a very large dog and early training could help significantly. Alfie is crated at night and when everyone is at work for his own safety. Our $75 adoption fee ($50 for seniors) includes: spay/neuter, microchip, HWT, DAPP and Bordetella vaccines, Strongid deworming, and 2015 Clermont County License.
