About cora

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Rescue ID: 16-1525
  • General Color: White with Tan, Yellow or Fawn
  • Color: Brindle

Cora was so young when she wound up at the shelter. She was not adjusting well so we put her in foster care. She's approximately 1-2 yrs. old and 25 lbs. She's naturally shy/timid and a little bit on the scared side when she doesn't know you. Small children and their natural reactions to things can very much spook Cora. Strangers are only a stranger until she sees you a couple times so you have to go slow upon meeting this gem. She is currently being fostered with three small dogs and four cats. Cora is not loving the cats. She wants to chase them when they run and bark when they don't. We think it would be better for her to be in a home with no cats at this point. Cora is crate trained as well as potty trained. She loves running outside. She currently has a fenced in backyard at her fosters and she's in heaven being able to run freely and play with her foster sibs. Cora knows basic commands and is great walking and riding in cars.
